My Beloved

My heart weeps for we have lost a loved one.

One who served the Lord with gladness.

He was a precious sheep of God’s pasture.

He that found great peace in the Word.

Serving the Lord was the foundation of his life.

His hunger to present a verse he memorized,

Gave me so much pride in him.

It was as if he inherited the talent.

 

I remember his shy smile,

That brought so much joy in my heart

So special he was that when I held him in my arms,

I felt something in his heart, it was if he wanted to explode,

with the vast power of God he humbly kept.

I know one day he shall return as a guardian angle,

to guide and protect us all, my beloved.
